Working with Dissociative Processes

Dissociation manifests itself in experiences of disconnection and of fragmentation, which can be confusing and often seen, and experienced, by both client and therapist.

We will explore the importance of appropriate expertise when working with dissociative process; therapist self-care while working with trauma; grounding and containment skills for clients; and establishing and monitoring safe boundaries for the therapy.
